Mr. Doug Backinger, Product Development Engineer at Caster Concepts, Inc, has been accepted to the University of Michigan College of Engineering to pursue a degree of Master of Engineering in Manufacturing. Doug has also been accepted as an endowed fellow in the world renowned Tauber Institute for Global Operations. The Tauber Institute is a multidisciplinary program between the College of Engineering and the Ross School of Business that focuses on creating industry leading operations and manufacturing professionals. Doug will begin his studies and fellowship in August 2008. Doug has been with Caster Concepts full time since the May of 2006 and has played a key role in the company\'s ISO 9001-2000 program and the polymer research and development in Reaction Industries.
